Old pictures of Austin and beyond

Austin may be a little too crowded for us nowadays but we sure do love that there is a whole foods that is big enough to have an escalator.

Enjoying pizza on the patio of Whole Foods. It wouldn't be Austin if we weren't shoo-ing away all of the scavenger birds.

As bad as the 2010 Texas football season was it wasn't a total loss. We did have a friend give us their tickets and parking for the Florida Atlantic Game which is one game where Texas was able to actually play some football. It was an excellent first game for Reed and Gracie to go to.

Daddy's little cheerleader.

Since we made sure to arrive early, the kids did have to wait for a while... after all of the pre-game festivities were done Reed said "Okay its over time to go home."

The stadium seats even have a reclining feature for children. Its a craftmatic adjustable stadium seat!

Reed is a stud puppy.

Cutie kids

Christmas at the Cowboy Church! We went to a living nativity before Christmas when it was pretty cold. Little did we know it was going to be a long and even colder winter.

Ali was there and helped us take car of the kids to keep them entertained while we waited for our turn.

There were a lot of good snacks so we weren't too terribly upset that we had to wait.

During Grandma's visit we of course had to visit the Bakery! This time we enjoyed their pizza night and had a wonderful evening.

Gracie has never met food she doesn't like, but in this case she really loves the food here.

Pictureless Update

I brought the camera for our trip. I even remembered to charge the battery. The only thing I forgot to do was bring the fully charged battery for the camera.

Despite being iced in and the EXPO being cancelled. Its been a fun trip to Austin. Its been a very quick trip so we had to do "fly-by" visits with Michael and Eric. But it was good to see everyone nonetheless.

Reed and Grace still got to make the most of it. It was a very nice Retreat for the family. We have been staying at a nice Marriot with an indoor pool and yummy breakfast.

Reed has been enjoying his Puddle jumper floaties which are just about a good as a life jacket but the puddle jumper really helps him float him forward so we is in the swim position.

We'll head back today and hopefully the snow will be melting all the way home.
