Pumpkin Festival

Today we went to the Pumpkin Festival downtown. It was a gorgeous day - absolutely perfect weather. We started the day off at everyone's favorite bakery. :) Then we headed around to all the different booths and activities.




The kids got to dress up in their halloween costumes. They were pretty cute!!!




Reed got to hang out on a fire truck. He was pretty excited about that, of course.




After we left the Pumpkin Festival Reed needed to expend some energy, and it was such a beautiful day that we decided to head to the park. Reed liked that idea!














Finally, while we were at the park, we saw one of our friends whose got a brand new Camaro. Whoooo, was Reed excited! Wait until he turns sixteen.... :)



We had a great day, and we were all pooped, so it's nap time now!

Texas vs. OU Weekend

We spent this Texas/OU weekend at home with the family this year. Maybe next year we can head out to Dallas. Gracie's still a little young for that. :) The kids really liked watching the game with us. It might have been an ugly game, but they didn't care.

Gracie wasn't too upset, even when Texas was looking like they weren't even going to show up to the game.

Mommy's Blog

What have we been doing the last few weeks? That's a great question, and here's the answer:

Reed has been fingerpainting. He very much enjoyed it, as you can tell.

Reed also went to "school", or preschool playdate with Mommy, where they read a bible story, sing songs, and do a craft. As we left he said, "I had fun, Mommy." He sang "This Little Light of Mine" and did a picture with "Jack, the Christian Pumpkin" while learning to let his light shine for the world to see, as the bible tells us.

Gracie's been smiling at Mommy and Daddy. So sweet! She's also been groing like a weed. She had her 2 month check up last week, and she weighed 9# 4oz. Both kiddos were very healthy. Praise the Lord!

Reed and Gracie have been enjoying each other's company. And Reed has been sweet to share his chair with Gracie so she can eat her cereal. Need to get some pictures of that one!!!
