Reed and Grace's first visit to Tucson

The kids absolutely loved flying in the airplane. Reed was a pro and Gracie enjoyed it as long as you held her hand during takeoff and landing.

Flying with three kids was not easy and not recommended.
It would have been impossible if either Emily or I had to do it alone.

Flying Southwest required us to have a layover in Albuquerque, NM. It was a small price to pay since they allowed for free check-in bags. Plus Reed got to try "Albuquerque water" (Sprite)....Yum!

Jonathan got to meet his Great Granddaddy Jack. Or as Gracie calls him "Gran-Jack."

On our first day there we got to go visit the butterfly exhibit at the botanical gardens.

One butterfly got cozy with me and hitched a ride as we walked around the butterfly-arium.

Yum-Yum Kum-quat

Cute kids

The next day we went to the Desert Museum which was top notch.

This picture perfect setting was followed shortly after with the infamous duck attack.

The hummingbirds were my favorite. I had never seen one not in flight.

Gracie, helping her Gran-Jack feed the birds.

Reed (and Daddy) loved getting to pick fruit from the trees. There were even lemon trees and orange trees at the hotel.

Handsome boys.

Jonathan is so tired he has to hang on.

It was a fun trip but Jonathan was ready to get home and sleep in his own bed.
