DENVER!!!!
What a wonderful trip - such a blessing from the Lord. Amazing friends, amazing times, and the chance to visit the planting of The Road Church in Denver. The kids were in heaven...it was a four-day, four-night sleepover with their best friends...and nothing to do but play together. They will remember this ALWAYS! We all will.
The trip out...it was much less painful than we thought it would be. The kids were really good. We made it all the way to Southern Colorado in one day.
Saturday we went to Rodizio's Brazillian Grill for lunch in beautiful downtown Denver.
Jonathan loved the fried bananas!
The boys
All the kids loved eating with their skewers.
All of us full, fat, and happy...well, except for Seth and Gracie, somehow they were still hungry and escaped with a slab of turkey and a loaf of bread!!!
Jonathan's favorite spot in Seth and Abigail's house. :)
Bedtime...bible time. LOVE
Our poor sick little boy
Sunday brunch after church
Jonathan is such a ladie's man...he is sitting with one of his two crushes and sitting next to the other one. :)
Best friends!
Sunday afternoon trip to the park!!!
Gracie was so proud of herself when Pastor Christian helped her conquer this ladder. She had to go back and do it again and again.
Hmmmm, notice anything in the progression of these three photos? I think Reed might be crushing on Abigail. :)
On our trip up to Estes Park
Gorgeous views on the way up!
We stopped at Starbucks in Estes Park for coffee and a picnic lunch.
Seth and his daddy having fun...
...and Gracie thought it was hilarious. :)
Jonathan and Miss Jo have a special bond - so sweet!
All the kids. :)
Gracie was loving it - she was totally in her element out there!
"I want that freezing cold water Mommy, PLEASE!"
The hiking rules...notice how Reed is very intent, and if you could see Abigail, she is too. Seth and Gracie, not so much. Must be a first-born/second-born thing.
Lily Lake
My wonderful and beautiful inside and out friend, Jo.
Made it to the top of the "mountain" above Lily Lake.
"I want those tree limbs, Mommy!"
Amazing clouds!
Look at Gracie go! We all worried about whether she'd be able to keep up on the hike - turns out we had to worry about keeping up with her!
Fall colors
The kids on the drive home...Notice Gracie's sticker on her forehead. :)
