Reed and Gracie, Growing Closer Everyday
Reed and Gracie could not be closer. They are so sweet together. If Gracie is crying, Reed will run to her side with a car or a silly sound to make her laugh. She looks so adoringly at him. Reed calls her "Pretty Girl." Their sweetness may not last after Gracie can crawl and she starts to take his toys away. But for now, Reed gives them up willingly. :) We are so thankful that the Lord has blessed us with such sweet kids.
Miss Gracie is Growing
Gracie is sure growing and changing quickly. She is eating all kinds of baby food now: pumpkin, squash, carrots, broccoli, peas, apples, pears, prunes, blueberries, and chicken. She loves them all! We knew she had to be a live-to-eat person - what other kind would be in our family?
She loves to talk. She tells us all about the things she likes. :) Especially her food, and then it goes flying everywhere out of her mouth. She adores music. She likes nothing more than musical stuffed animals and watching her daddy play the guitar and sing (except maybe her brother.)
What Gracie perhaps lacks in gross motor skills, she certainly makes up for in fine motor skills. She will grab small pieces of food out of your hand and put them straight in her mouth. It doesn't even have to be food - but it still goes in the mouth...she's going to be one of those kids. We better watch out - haven't had to deal with that before. She finds her pacifier in her bed and picks it up and puts it in her mouth already. That's not too surprising though, considering she came out the womb being able to push her "mimi" back into her mouth with her wrist - literally!

Snowy Days!!!
Last week, while the northeast was digging themselves out of several feet of snow, we had our own 7 inches to deal with. Fortunately for us, it was more fun than it was a pain. It was more snow than we'd ever seen here though. It's the perfect kind too. Come on strong for a beautiful scene and then melt within a couple days. :) It was over 60 degrees here today. I love it!!!
Winter Wonderland!
Reed thought the snow was great. He's been dying all winter to build a snowman. Of course, when we get out there to do it he says, "No, Mommy do it." So...Mommy did it. :)
When Daddy got home, we all went out to play again in the snow.
We rounded out the couple days of beautiful snow with a snow cone. :)
Happy Valentine's Day!
The kids had a wonderful Valentine's Day last weekend. Reed and Gracie want to say a big THANK YOU to Gramma for all the sweet gifts that she left them! They had a great time opening them!
Reed also had a great time at his Valentine's Party at school. Guess who brought snacks to the party...Mommy! I think they were a hit. How can you go wrong with strawberry cupcakes and 2-year-olds?
